This boutique hotel has a modern rustic feel to each room. The owners Heather and Jay Allen renovated the 1860s historic building that once served as lodging for the logging industry.

The rooms today offer contemporary elements mixed with exposed brick walls. You’ll find heated floors, premium linens, tiled showers, and a seating area.

This hotel is conveniently located in downtown Newaygo. You’ll find the Timbertown Coffee Co. on the first floor or go across the street to River Stop Cafe to have your favorite espresso drink crafted just the way you like it.

You can find parks, trails, and the Muskegon River within walking distance.

Oakridge Motel

Even though this motel has been around for quite a while, it’s a great economical option for staying in Newaygo. You can expect to get clean quiet rooms and friendly service.

This is not the type of hotel that provides a free breakfast in the morning. You’ll have to take a short drive to grab your coffee and breakfast.

There is plenty of free parking on site. It can accommodate vehicles with trailers.

A Paradise Resort

You’ll find the Paradise Resort along the Muskegon River between Croton and Hardy Dam. It’s a nice little motel located along the Muskegon River.

Each room comes with a kitchenette and free wifi service. You’ll be able to enjoy the nicely landscaped outdoors and the sitting area overlooking the river.

The Newaygo Bed & Breakfast is a historic location known as the Riblet house built in 1871 during Newaygo’s strong industrial lumber market.

There are several indoor and outdoor common gathering locations available. It’s a great place to hold a small event or just get the extended family together.

You’ll find restaurants, bars, coffee shops, trails, parks, and the Muskegon River within walking distance.

Vacation Rentals in Newaygo MI

There are many private vacation properties located in Newaygo. You can find small locations that will accommodate one or two of you or a larger property for a group of friends or family.

Decide if you want to be on the river or inland lake or enjoy a serene wooded location.

If you want to go swimming at the lake home you rent in Newaygo, one thing you’re going to want to look for is an area with a sandy bottom. Some homes on the water may have a mucky bottom or be very weedy.

This lake has a sandy bottom and is zero-entry. This is definitely a plus for those traveling with small children who want to play in the lake.
